5 Buds was derived from a group of 5 friends that shared a common interest in the medicinal properties of CBD.  We wanted to be able to grow an organic crop of cannabis free from harmful pesticides and mycotoxins, aflotoxins, and ochratoxins.  We successfully grow the hemp from which our product is derived at a local organic farm with much love and care in south Greenwood SC.  The material is then extracted at a state-of-the-art facility, Carolina Botanical Development in Anderson SC.  Once extracted they blend the oil using organic coconut MCT as the carrier oil, creating the high quality product available to all of our wonderful customers.
